Scary comics? Two words:

BEAR.

7. Shane Bailey - October 27, 2009

I have never laughed as much at a podcast as I do when I listen to WRA.

8. Evie - October 27, 2009

Tom Fowler always has my back.

9. Mart Gray - October 27, 2009

Just listened for the first time, great stuff lads. This Witching Hour cover scared me as a kid, I never did read the comic:

10. Steve - October 27, 2009

Chris, you made me SO HAPPY with your Robin costume confession.
I also used to put on a superhero costume and ride around the neighborhood on my bike, looking for crime.

I’d usually end up at the video store for some reason.

11. Dave - October 27, 2009

The Shaft discussion with the theme music playing in the background was effing hilarious.

12. Danicus Spamicus Decimus Meridius - October 27, 2009

I rode around in my Batman costume as a child… So yeah, right there with you.

13. Geoff - October 28, 2009

This was awesome, but I thought Chris was going to put up a picture of Mr. Mxyzptlk smoking a bus. We need to see it!

14. Alex - October 28, 2009

The Castlevania trivia contest is probably the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time.

15. Christopher Tatro - October 28, 2009

The Robin costume thing is awesome but I can do you one better (worse?): I rode around in my Batman costume THAT MY MOM HAD SEWED FOR ME! Here’s the pattern: http://vintagepatterns.wikia.com/wiki/Simplicity_8714 And how dorky the costume looks on the cover? It was far, far worse in reality! I’d forgotten entirely about it until listening to this podcast!

16. Eric Lyden - October 29, 2009

That bit where Mxyzptlk turns the guys in the battle suits into airplanes totally freaked me out as well. I really think it may be the most gruesome death to have ever appeared in a Superman comic.

I haven’t finished listening to the Castlevania trivia contest yet, but between you and me I’m rooting for Chris. Chris and Eugene are the best comics podcasts hosts in the world.

17. Mushroom Jones - October 31, 2009

Agreed! The Castlevania trivia contest was just crazy!
