Sweet Biscuits and Gravy! April Fools Day comes early this year! 360 days early!! Props to everyone involved, nice job!

3. Evie - April 5, 2010

WFD: We tried to make the water wine, but, you know.

4. Evie - April 5, 2010

This post was mentioned on Twitter by EugeWarRock: RT @theisb: WAR ROCKET AJAX #25! Featuring @KieronGillen and surprises galore from when we recorded last Thursday! http://is.gd/bfICV...

6. Mario M. - April 5, 2010

That was great. When I first played this, I thought I mislabeled my podcasts.

7. Martin - April 5, 2010

Podcast crossover event! Glorious! (and presumably nothing will ever be the same!)

8. Dylan - April 5, 2010

I will always think of this as the POWER MAN & IRON FIST #73/ROM #23 of podcasts.

9. zeek - April 5, 2010

Great show as usual Evie and Aaron but is there a reason you skipped your usual Big Ups to All My Gators segment?

My Life Story: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz1W9EWTdVY

I have a horrible feeling that My Life Story at the Manchester Academy, May 10th (ish) 1997 was the last gig I went to. If you don’t count playing the Sue Ryder Centre, Ely, of course.

Oh, go on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoXH4fKKSwc

(one of my “Wolf Like Me”s, as I recall)

And my favrit from the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71j9CaAk3Ks

The CD (The Golden Mile) had an awesome bit of enhanced content, in the form of a nifty amusement arcade.

Can’t listen to Wake Up Boo, anymore. It makes me too sad.

(MLS is making me sad, now, as well. God Damn You, Father Time!)

Good interview/show, peeps!

“I will always think of this as the POWER MAN & IRON FIST #73/ROM #23 of podcasts.”

Wow.

The theme song sounds rad this time. Not that it doesn’t always, but this is cool too.

12. Adam K - April 6, 2010

IT’S NOT IN THE FUCKIN SHOWNOTES.

Or is it?

13. Adam K - April 6, 2010

Doesn’t matter, apparently I’m a champion googler.

14. Evie - April 6, 2010

Sorry Zeek, the gators got chompy.

15. Mark Cook - April 6, 2010

It’s a hard word to spell, solipsistic.

16. Pj - April 6, 2010

I could listen to Evie’s voice all day … BEST WRA EVER.

17. Pj - April 6, 2010

OK, and Kieron’s voice. But he knows that and if I get on his nutsack anymore, he’ll get a restraining order, even though he’s 5,000 miles away.

18. Pj - April 6, 2010

Michael Jackson’s video game was “Moonwalker,” not “Thriller.” GEEZ. The WRA guys would know that.

19. Pj - April 6, 2010

The honeymoon is over, Evie. You do NOT pronounce the “o” in matzoh as a long o. It’s more a “schwa” sound. tsk tsk

20. Evie - April 6, 2010

Dang, that was quick. And doy I know that… did I say the O? Trust me I’m a life-long honorary Jew but I am from Southern California, so I don’t have much control over my vowels sometimes.

21. BringTheNoise - April 7, 2010

Dissing Deep Blue Something will not go unpunished.

22. Evie - April 7, 2010

You can’t be serious.

23. Pj - April 7, 2010

Evie – it’s OK. I still love you. We just ran out of money for the cabana.

24. Eric Lyden - April 7, 2010

Known what’s funny? Even though I had already listened to Chris & Eugene on Awesomed By Comics I was surprised to hear Aaron & Evie on WRA. I was just thinking “Shit, I like Chris & Eugene, but I don’t know if I want to hear them for almost 4 hours in one week.” I just kind of assumed Aaron & Evie were busy this week so they got Chris & Eugene to pinch hit in spite of the not too subtle hints regarding what was really going on.

And the comic books fans in Southie are really nothing to worry about. There still comic book fans and no one ever needs to feel threatened physically by any comic book fan.

25. War Rocket Ajax – The Greatest Comic Book and Pop Culture Podcast In the World! » Awesomed by Ajax – April Fools - April 9, 2010

[...] In case you haven’t figured it out yet, War Rocket Ajax and Awesomed By Comics swapped hosts this week for our April Fools Week episode! Thanks again to Evie and Aaron from Awesomed by ComicsĀ  for not only hosting our show, but also bringing in a pretty awesome guest, Kieron Gillen. If you haven’t heard it yet, check it out here. [...]

26. Christopher Tatro - April 10, 2010

I was confused and disoriented more by the amount of comics-related talk (and the dearth of Wu-Tang and wrestling related content) this week than the switch up in hosts.

27. michael - April 15, 2010

ha! I’m in the same boat as Eric, except a LOT more belated! This was awesome!! :)

I too thought E&A just took time off, and listened to ABC, but now just realized that they all pulled a switcheroo! *embarassment*

is ABC Jewish? O.o

and sorry aaron, but your cheesy potatoes sounds awful! :(

I know it’s similar to the way to make great fried potatoes, but man, that recipe is….
